Subject: time to dump DOMINI???
From: invest7ments
Date: 11/19/00
I've held Domini Social Equity fund for over two years. While its overall performance has matched the S&P 500 index this past year, I'm thinking of dumping the fund for Vanguard or TIAA-Cref's lower cost funds; after all, expenses do matter. Any opinions? Also, when will a SRI Total Stock Market Index fund (like Vanguard's Total Stock Market Index) be available to the public? That way one can invest in the total market rather than just large caps. Don't tell me about Citizen's Small Cap Index fund. Its expenses are outrageous. Vanguard and TIAA-Cref's funds only cover the large cap markets. DOMINI GET YOUR CORPORATE ACT TOGETHER: LOWER YOUR EXPENSES (get rid of your 12B1 fees) or else you're going to lose my business. In a down market EXPENSES DO MATTER. DOMINI - SHAPE UP or I'm going to ship out for Vanguard or TIAA-CREF. Sincerely, Invest7ments@aol.com
