In 1998, the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership established the Community Redevelopment
Loan and Investment Fund, Inc. (CRLIF). CRLIF provides access to capital to rebuild and rejuvenate
communities in Metro Atlanta and helps local CDCs, nonprofit and for-profit developers succeed in
delivering affordable and mixed income housing. CRLIF underwrites risks that typically do not meet
traditional lending criteria. CRLIF works diligently to rebuild communities or to establish new
ones. CRLIF also provides financing to CDCs, nonprofit and for-profit housing developers that
provide housing to low-to-moderate income families; it is also the most consistent source of
capital to CDCs and affordable housing developers in Atlanta.
